What makes Innisfail Career High School different than a traditional high school?
Innisfail Career High School has an open classroom setting. There are no specific time periods for starting and attendance is flexible within school hours. Timelines are set up individually, designed to your ability and availability. We operate on the standard September to June schedule, but students can enroll at any time throughout the year.
We specialize in 'school to work' transition and workplace safety training for youth from Career High and the community.
How much does it cost?
There are no school fees for students under 20 years of age as of September 1 of the current school year.
What courses do you offer?
Innisfail Career High School offers high school level courses (grades 10 - 12). We offer distance learning modules, as well as some online courses delivered through a moodle site. Please refer to our courses page for more information.
Will I receive a regular High School diploma through Career High?
Yes, we are an accredited school through the Province of Alberta.
How do I get started?
General online registration for the current school year is open. It is helpful to have your supporting documents (ex. birth certificate) prior to beginning the registration process.
Once you have registered, the staff will then have a sit down consultation with you to determine your individual needs and come up with a personalized plan to get you started.
